Thanksgiving in Santa Monica CA

We left a day early and stayed in Vegas due to the fact that UT was suppose to get the storm on of the century, when it just ended up being a dusting and some ice. But the kids thought Vegas was pretty cool. Mike and Elizabeth were nice enough to let us crash in their little sea side apartment for Thanksgiving. Even though Mike decided to cook an ALL SEAFOOD thanksgiving. Did I mention that I HATE seafood and was battling all day pregnancy sickness this weekend. I was craving only tacos all weekend. Mike is such a great cook and I am glad he made me a turkey. *Thanks Mike your the best bro-in-law ever!! We enjoyed the Beach both in Santa Monica and Venice. I LOVE Cali and would move there any day. The girls and I enjoyed Black Friday shopping on the third street promenade. Kinda ironic that we left to avoid bad roads, only to have roads closed on really covered in snow on our way home. Our usual 11 hour trip took us 16 hours to get home. Thanks goodness for electronics.
