Hannah's 11th Birthday

Well another birthday come and gone. Our kids are growing up so fast. Hannah is now 11 and venturing into pre-teen years right before our eyes. We had an ice skating party this year with family and her friends. Hannah once again chose a cookie instead of a birthday cake. Instead of stuffed animals and arts and crafts, Hannah wanted a flat iron and a new coat. YUP she is growing up!!

Our yearly trip to West Yellowstone included lots of family and lots of fun. Mike and Elizabeth drove up to West with us after spending Christmas at our house. Ann and Mary were already there. Preston came down with strep throat the first two days we were there so it had us staying in the house for two days which was fine because we don't do that at all why we are home. After he was feeling better all the guys went snowmobiling while the girls went shopping and to the spa. The next day almost everyone went boarding or skiing at Big Ski ski resort thanks to the fact that Dashelle and Mike work up there and the kids and grown ups get a free day pass (thanks guys) ....we have so much fun every time we visit West no matter the season...can 't wait to go back in the summer.....

Christmas 2009

Another Christmas come and gone. It always seems so exhausting to me, trying to find the right gift for everyone, getting all the baking done, sending cards, planning and attending parties...but in the end I am always glad I did it all. Making each one better than the other. We had our annual Kener Christmas eve party at our house. Mike and Elizabeth came to stay with us for Christmas which was really fun to have have the newlyweds join us for all our crazy Kener fun. We made it to temple square which we only do every other five years it seems like. After all the fun I quickly cleaned up Christmas and packed us all for Montana.
