Family update

I have been so busy with midterms, yoga training(and job offers), room mom duties, and classroom volunteering, I have had no time to blog since I came home from Idaho. My training was such a amazing experience I was so sad to leave. I made new friends and learned a lot about how I want to pursue my yoga teaching. The studio we trained in was owned by a lady a little older than me. She was such an inspiration to me with everything she has accomplished in her life with obstacles such as divorce, illness and other complications life throws at us that I could relate to. I feel so honored to have trained under her expertise and knowledge of yoga. When I came home I had to take two midterms and plan a teaching lesson for Preston 's 6Th grade class. Once again feeling overwhelmed by everyday life and loving every minute of it. I took both midterms and used my knowledge of teaching to get through the lessons. I am so glad I volunteered in Pretson's last year of elementary school. It has been more work than I expected but he will remember it. I came home Monday and sent out mass emails to everyone looking for some where to teach 8 free yoga lessons to. As a part of our certification we are suppose to expose the community to the wonders of yoga. I offered it to several places and waited to hear back from one of them. It only took maybe 6 hours before I was bombarded with offers and phone calls. Not only for the 8 free classes but permanent positions as well. I was already offered a position at the University Sandy campus before I even left for training. The place I am teaching the 8 free classes to offered me studio time in their gym to start a class after the training is over. I was so excited I have not been able to sleep much this week. I am teaching the 8 free classes to Hannah's gymnastics teachers and then the owner asked me if I would like to start a class for other clients as well. I will be teaching a kids class as well there and can't wait for that experience. I am trying really hard not to let this interfere with my schooling but this week it has a little. I was also offered several positions at a couple gyms but I think the U and the gymnastics will have to be enough. I have an interview to teach on campus in the fall and I will definitely take that one also.
Yoga has been an amazing part of my life and has helped me heal when I have needed it most. It is more than a exercise(and yes it is a great work out) my yoga mat is a place I can come to to get into my own body and mind so I can be a better person for those around me. If you haven't tried yoga yet I recommend you do. If you want to try my class I can keep yo updated on when and where I will be teaching for sure.
The kids are anxious for school to get out and we are all anxious for this snow to be gone. Dan and I are feeling more at ease now that our wedding plans are finalize. We have decided not to have a reception but can't wait to see family the September in Kentucky for Mike and Elizabeth's wedding. We feel as though our little get away in Estes Park, Co was what we were meant to do and can't wait to become one big family. Chloe will be three this year and we are hoping potty trained so she can start preschool and gymnastics with her sister. Her vocabulary in tremendous for her age and she is counting well above 10. Her time at the U day care has been good for her and she has learned so much.
Our other plans this year include another trip to Yellowstone in August and lots of weekend getaways with the boat.
With the semester and school for the kids winding down, I will have more time to blog(maybe)!
For now...~NAMASTE!!
