What ever happened to the good old fashion year book signing on the last day of school? Now they are signing body parts? Not just his arms....his neck....his hands....his legs....even the principal of the school and several teachers signed Preston's body. OK school is out for summer and our furnace is still on at nights. Something very wrong with this. It doesn't even feel like summer. We finally got the pool up and running and now its too cold to swim. Our tans from Florida are fading away. It is day two on summer vacation and I am already hearing "I'm bored" Oh my heck I was never bored during summer break. What happened to the good old days of building forts with neighborhood kids, running through the sprinklers, putting the metal slide on the fence into the plastic pool with the hose running down it, and playing games such and no bears are out tonight and red light green light. We were never bored. My kids however think these games are childish and want to go to lagoon, raging waters, or seven peaks. We just got back from Disney world...besides I can't afford to drive the jeep anywhere. So if we can't get there on the bikes we can't go. No not really. Kids are just so hard to entertain these days. I am just glad Hannah has girls scouts to entertain her this summer and Preston has his skate bored and cell phone.......I just hope it warms up soon so we can go outside.
