I drove Hannah up Parley's Canyon to her first week away at girl scout camp. I was a little nervous last night thinking about how far away she will be from me for five nights. She is so independent though and I should have nothing to worry about. She didn't even seem nervous that none of the girls from her troup were going to that camp with her. She was suppose to go last week but they called and cancelled it because of all the recent snow fall. As you can see in the pictures there is still snow up there. They called and told us to pack coats, boots and sleeping bags that can keep her warm in 32 degree weather. It is so pretty up there. The main cabin is right on the lake. They have mommy and me camp outs that I will for sure do next year. I wanted to stay and camp up there with her. She was like "umm no mom....its time for you to go" I tried not to cry as I walked back to my car. She will have so much fun. And of coarse I sent her with a camera so I will post the pictures she takes next week.
